These Sony releases seem to be available in the USA only, and only by import to Europe. This seems to back up the belief/theory/fact that Sony have the distribution rights in the USA for these releases. What happens for the rest of the world, including Europe, is a little muddier. Since the TMBGITW legal wrangle is centred in Italy and their court system, could it be that Sony can do what they like in the USA, for releasing the Gold Experience? Especially as they are not entangled with the song at the heart of the plagiarism case, "Takin' Me to Paradise", which was published by Warner Chappell Italy, whereas Warners were. It has The Most Beautiful Girl In The World on it... and the album is on 3 sides, with side D containing the Hate Experience maxi single tracks.
Nice.
I have the original vinyl, but I'll definitely be getting this! Looking forward to it! Great to have another release in the pipeline. |

Still interesting they are releasing something, let's hope they will be pressing more copies than The Truth.
. Too bad for me because I really wanted to have this album on a regular CD. So, as usual, the album will be sold to some wreckastores in the US, then some wreckastores worldwide will buy them to sell it again at a more expensive price. The copie already sold two times, will be sold again on Discog by a Russian seller at two or three times the original price. . As usual, most copies sold won't be opened. . As usual, people like me who just wanted the album to listen to it, won't be able to buy it under 50 euros, and would be obliged to spend a considerable amount of time to just find a fucking copy. . Let's just hope the terrible artwork would dissuade people from buying it, and let more copies sold at a reasonable price. They didn't succeed in finding the original artwork, couldn't they just scan it? . Interesting they are now not wasting space of a whole side anymore, with the remixes of I Hate U. But too bad the original single TMBGITW is not on it, just the terrible remix. . [Edited 2/17/22 1:27am] |
