Ok I did more research. It's all exlained here by Susie Davis whose tape this was. It's Susannah and Prince making fun of her dancing. Apparenlty Sheila E's band and The Revolution were making fun of each other.

Thanks. Except on that thread people didn't read the notes. the tape came from Susie Davis, Sheila's keyboard player from the PR tour.

I hope whoever bought the tape makes it avilable. This is my favorite era. I would love to see Sheila and Prince/The Family footage teasing each other.

Sheila's band was so tight....it sucks that none of the PR Tour footage of her set has ever been released.

Susie was selling a video of Sheila's set from Syracuse, NY, March 30, 1985. I would have loved to get it, but the quality was probably not so great. I think the bidding started at $500.

yes. i don't know how I missed this discussion but there is tons of great content on that auction site, wtih notes from Susie from the PR tour.

I actually had a keyboard lesson from her like 20 years ago at her house. She was really cool and helped me prepare for one of my first shows!

Are there any candidates for a more goofy Prince performance? Shame the quality is so poor.

Wouldn't it be fun to have some of those rehearsals in good quality - I think this is so interesting to see how they practised, the kind of jokes they did etc...

Yes. These are worth $! I would pay for this footage. I wish I knew about this auction before it was over.

The 84/85/86 era is my favorite and not enough video documentation, especially the protogees.

in the other thread someone said Susannah confimred on Twitter it's she (it's also confirmed by Susie Davis in the auction).
