Just got done watching the show
It was bullshit Thanks for sharing but I expected more Prince stories I think only 10 minutes was spent on prince during the whole show and Kelly sucks as a interviewer.She needs to let her guests tell the stories and quit interrupting [Edited 1/11/22 13:00pm] | |

Kelly opened the show with her house band doing a slow version of "Kiss". I don't even think they played the whole video of them performing it. It was mainly past clips of people talking about their brief moments of meeting P....Leslie Jones and Jimmy Fallon talked about the SNL wrap party he played at and one of the actors from that TV show ("New Girl"..?) talked about P as a guest on the show. The "never before seen" footage was just Kelly's guests talking about meeting P, that was it...nothing mindblowing at all, so the diehards didn't miss anything. The audience member talking about being a huge fan, showing her P tattoo and seeing 100 plus shows was more exciting than the show itself.....Chris Martin and Melissa McCarthy had clips shown, but they didn't talk about P..I agree with the OP. Kelly needs to stop over talking her guests and let them speak....First (and I'm sure the last) time I've ever watched her show. | |

The beautiful Meagan Goode's(whom I worked with) story about meeting Prince(r.i.p) was "interesting" although kinda insulting. Disappointing show. No clips, nothing and I think I've heard all those stories somewhere before. I was quite impressed with the fan in the audience though. She has seen Prince 180 times and has 3 Prince tattoos, one of which she showed on air. I can't imagine seeing him 180 times, but good for her, she's very fortunate to have had all those opportunities. I've seen him about 10 times and I thought that was pretty good. | |

Living in "the land of stars with only one moon". Prince(r.i.p.) LOVED playing there it was like his second home. So if U were a "REAL FAN" of his it was easy to attend over a hundred shows of his EASILY. Would have helped a little if Kelly actually showed clips of the flfootage her guests were talking about Jimmy Fallon and the new girl cast member both old their prince stories and both have been captured on video | |

I remember seeing her at the 2002 one nite alone show at the Kodak & HOB aftershow then yrs later at the Troubador in 09. She didn’t strike me as too friendly . |

I watch her show, did not see the Prince Special. Hopefully more singers/musicians go on her show. I remember watching her on America Idol, Ruben S., ETC. | |
