The last definitive era/look for a long, long time until the afro/3EG era came around almost 15 years later.

I love the Rave look. He was onto something, and the longer hair looked great on him.

Can anybody that still thinks that the Rave era was 'most visually intimidating' please raise their hands?

Then we can find a cheap offer for LED flashlights and help these people with not enouigh callus on their souls and be done with this thread.

I liked the Rave era. He was cool.

the rave era seems to be split into two sort of looks.

first there is the whole fuzzy, long hair, relaxed sign o the times era prince meets middle eastern prophet look, which is actually very interesting and looks great on him.

then there is the 'rave in2 the future' sort of look, that is just silly and combines so many styles
that don't mix very well. there's a hard/street edge to it, yet it's so glam it's absurd ( ) and the futuristic elements of it feel outdated and cringy.

the same goes for some of the music in this era. it roughly falls into one of these two 'categories'.

Sure, but to call it 'visually intimidating' (how else?) is kinda over the edge.
