Welcome 2 America, the unreleased Super Deluxe AS I come to think of it, in the Official W2A Podcasts, there is a conversation with the engineer Jason Agel, where he was called in to work on his first track ''Rich Friends'' which was intended for a Deluxe Edition of '20TEN' that was never released, or happened. Was that SDE finished ? Anyone any info on that ? Playlist ? (On PrinceVault there isn't much info on ''20TEN Deluxe''.) - Official podcast W2A - Episode 3, ''The Internet is completely over'' starts from 3:10 on... -

- The reason why I ask this is, with "Rave In2...'' having it's "Rave Un2..." It looks like he wanted to repeat that idea ten years later again. As if he wanted to make (more) profit from releasing the same album twice with some extra's and extended versions, that easily could've been Maxi Singles - which were a bit out of fashion at that point. Would that've been the case then ? Kinda strange idea... He could've made these available through (pay for) download... Or am I missing somthing here ? -

Might have been a way to entice people to re-buy the album, as it was initially a freebie.

Also, Prince did want to remove and replace one track on 20TEN before its release with the Daily Mirror in the UK, but it was too late in the process for the newspaper to accomodate him. So it seems that Prince was still tinkering with the album or not entirely satisfied with it in some way, hence perhaps, his interest in an expanded edition. Regardless, Warner Bros refused the project and Prince moved on. It would make a nice and logical release now though since Prince had already approved and pitched the album and it is missing a US release.

This quote makes it sound like Prince wanted to scrap the entire album, but I recall reading that it concerned one track, that has never been named to my recollection.

It's for the kids, right? Like the theme song at a 5-year-old's birthday party In that perspective, my daughter loved it when it came out back then in 2010 "Whatever skin we're in
we all need 2 b friends" | |

- Although i have a weak spot for 20TEN, i still think he didn't wrote his best songs for that album. Sorry guys. But the fact that he really wanted it to be re-released as a SD package, I really don't understand. For a package he tried already 10 years before. It would just be interesting to know what the tracklist was/is, just to have a better look/idea at it. - Both Xtra trakcs ''Rich friends'' & ''Everybody Likes Me'' aren't even worth a SD package imho - too weak i believe, as if they were written to give away to others. And then he did not release ''Welcome 2 America'' in the same year? And album that is stronger than 20ten, no ? - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves.
