4K UHD release of the "Sign O' The Times" movie in Japan on 30 July by Ward Records

Yay!

I (finally) received my copy!

What do we like about his release?

What would we rather have changed?

Phase3

I actually forgot all about this
Is it worth getting? Is it better quality than the bluray?

Higher resolution versions of SOTT are of course better than sliced bread, but wa the source material good enough to let 4K bring out more details? Was anythign done to the audio?

Extras?

The packaging by cdjapan was outstanding, the delivery through Dutch customs was a bit slow.

The box itself looks nice on the stack of SOTT movie releases.

It's all well and good to say something is 4K, but what is the scanning process that has been undertaken? What generation are the prints? Is it just an upscale from a Blu-ray scan?

Assuming you mean "translate", no, I didn't. Did you? I'd be very interested to hear what the process was.
