I just watched the trailer and there's a Prince impersonator that I think they're tring to pass off as Prince at 0:59 in. He's wearing a Purple Rain outfit with what appears to be a Mayte impersonator. Very silly.

its okay. goes beyond its brief of being a doc on princes early beginnings to try and cover his whole career which is when it gets a bit off track. they should have done better to make it about the mpls scene, and the place overall, and princes connection to that, and how it made him who he is. didnt need all the other stuff.

Thanks for the reminder about this docu! I saw all of the previews earlier, and it seems that there was a short window where the film was accessible for pay-per-view. I'll have to look in2 this again. I strongly believe this is worth the view, especially if U care at all about the city of Prince's hometown and and it's social environment.

It's a wonderful documentary on Prince and I encourage everyone who hasn't seen it to see it. Ignore the naysayers, judge for yourself. I was glad to see any positive documentary since Netflix is taking forever and a day.
