PM Dawn's a watchers point of View and Cindy C

Not sure if the song gave credit to prince but, I always remeber hearing this record and knew it was prince inspired, and sampled, but didn't know the track title til now. I don't know if it was a hit for them but, Cindy C it is. Think it was around the time of the black album.

Copyright for authorship is registered with Attrell Cordes (Prince Be) and Tom Johnstone. founding member of the Doobie Brothers, because of the song's obvious sampling of the Doobie Brothers', 'Feelin' Down Farther' from their first album released in 1971. Other samples used were uncredited. The single had limited chart success (as reported on Wikipedia) in 1991, three years before the official release of 'The Black Album', but of course it had been widely pirated since it leaked in the previous decade.

ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
