From the Batman and SNL performances, in September 1989, to the Filming of Graffiti Bridge in February 1990, Prince changed, does anybody see this?- is it the beard, because if you put a beard on Prince 1989, he would still look different from Prince in 1990.

SNL, no facial hair.
Weight changes. He was losing weight from 1988 on.

Prince had one of those faces that could completely transform with the tiniest edit of the tiniest amount of facial hair.

Well... what looked different? There's tons of photos you could use to illustrate.

The main way Prince changed his face up was through his eyebrow shape (outside of the obvious facial hair)

I think from that time period. It actually started around the end of 87-Lovesexy-89 that Prince was dealing with a lot of what was, not being there anymore WALLY was written at the end of 87 I see it as a mourning of the people and era being gone

He was moreso spending more time in Paisley Park, and not other studios, here and there. It seems around the 88-90 period his sleep patterns changed. More 'after shows' more being up latter it seems

I said how they changed.

His performances started going later into the night. And more after shows.

The later performancess and late shows increased

but a physical maturing was taking place as well

And look at New Years 1987 Prince, he looks different from his Sign O the Times Era, he's looks white as a ghost. He didn't look like that at the 1987 MTV Awards.
