But seriously, there are online calculators (the internet goes beyond the Org, ya know) to adjust a number for inflation.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Construction costs have outpaced inflation over the past 35 years.

prob not that much. its just a warehouse structure. nothing complicated on the exterior. ask amazon lol.

just depends how much a studio costs today. they have gone up in price as they are rarer.

razz

I'll be honest and say pp does not look like a million bucks from what I've seen of the inside
[Edited 4/14/21 7:13am]

As its just a white box outside that would seem to be relatively cheap to construct, though I'm no architect.

only a million bucks lol ...

It cost 10 Million back in 1987

"In the mid-1980s, after success from his early albums and his movie Purple Rain, Prince Rogers Nelson began construction on what became a $10 million, 65,000-square-foot compound outside Minneapolis, called Paisley Park Studios."

And it has that Big Full Sound Stage where he practiced/rehearsed for some of his tours...

$1 dollar in 1987 $2.33 dollars today nationwide

@astasheiks

You can probably calculate the rest with a 10 million 1987 price tag.
