The "Purple Rain" t-shirt is becoming omnipresent Years ago wearing a Prince t-shirt meant you were a fan.
Now shirts with "Purple Rain" are almost like AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N Roses and Nirvana t-shirts; just shirts you can buy at Target and maybe not even know a single song of theirs.
Now, if the estate can just come up with another Prince t-shirt for the masses they'll be off to the races.

I often see young people wearing Metallica, Nirvana, The Beatles or even Nas T-shirts and I always wonder if they really like the musicians on their T-shirts or if it´s just a trend to wear a band shirt.

I saw them selling like hot cakes next to Blaupunkt TVs. The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

Free promotion  . I'm guilty of this with other artists/ shows/ etc tho I try 2 freshen up on them b4 or after I buy shirt. I haven't seen any1 wearing a PR shirt but def have seen them 4 sale. Got a few myself even tho it isn't my all time fave. Gotta represent  . Saw a cool For You era 1 (u know the pic where he's buck naked a couple times behind a guitar) a LONG time ago at the Hot Topic. Woulda got it if the 1 in my size didn't look like it would fit half of me  .For all time I am with you, you are with me. | |

People are such fakes today. One of the main reasons to go to the concert was to buy the T shirt. They make them for newborn babies now.
