Plus Sheila just makes those funk faces during shows sometimes.

Lots of people are fascinated with the mysteries over how Prince navigated juggling his women and all those personalities during that era. I don't think we'll ever know. Jill is the only one who openly talks about it, and she never gets specific. It's none of our business, and also so tied into the mythology of everyone who dated him, that it doesn't benefit them to tell us what really went on.

not trying to get entangled into this argument, but watch Sheila's live 1600 video, including the end where Prince completely blows away whatever came before and pay close attention that what Sheila is doing, both in her show and when she's on stage with Prince.

Not knocking Sheila, her job description those days was "be Prince translated into female form and with a percussion focus", but it can get a bit much at times.

I tend to think that Sheila's romance with Prince was largely in her mind. Yeah maybe he hit it once or twice but....

Second, Wendy and Lisa both joined Prince's band when they were barely out of high school. Exactly what "careers" should they have had before that? Everyone knows their formative years careerwise were spent with Prince - which makes your assertion stupid on its face.
