Billy's Sunglasses/Paisley Park 12"

Just listening to Paisley Park 12" and that heavy guitar intro has a lot of similarities to Billy's Sunglasses (the grungey riff that seems to loop back on itself). Anyone mentioned this before? Another interesting case of Prince's re-using of musical motifs and ideas.

You can kind of hear a strong similarity in the little keyboard melody played in the instrumental sections of Come Elektra Tuesday and Musicology. It's all but the same.

Might seem strange but I guess CET wasn't ever that far from his mind given he wanted to put it on CB2 not that much earlier than when he recorded Musicology.

yes Prince stolo from hisself alot.especially when he started believing he was a genius,,
