Diana Ross and Prince? Granted, I don't know a lot about her, but she seemed to show up on various award shows that I've been watching on YouTube. Grammy's 1986 and 1988 (?) as a hostess . And she was a the main act on the opening ceremony for the World Cup in 1994. The biggest event in the world.
But I have never seen or heard a quote from her, where she said anything about Prince. Honestly, she seems like a total Industry Pop Star and too "normal" for Prince. Did they ever meet or record anything? [Edited 1/20/21 14:06pm] [Edited 1/20/21 14:07pm] | |

Her daughter talks about her mom and her meeting him backstage. Parts of her account don´t make much sense to me though because I only remember Prince wearing those pants she mentions on MTV but not at a regular concert. Maybe I misunderstood her? Apparently she met him for the first time when she was dating Gene Simmons after the Dirty Mind Ritz Show and Prince was supershy meeting her. | |

Prince spent time around the Jacksons at one point, so it's likely they crossed paths, or almost crossed paths then. I think Diana was still in tight with MJ around that time. She was around a lot because of MJ and connections to Motown, and The Supremes, making her baby boomer royalty. | |
