. It is another form of instant gratification of this age. Not going up to the room where you stored these discs, finding the right disc, turning on the stereo equipment, playing the disc, etc. Let's see in a few years. We don't need to wait and see as it's already been years of streaming. This ain't new. If you want to keep your music listening rituals, nobody's stopping you.

Ultimately this means nothing. I have the album on vinyl and accessing each track has never been a challenge. Until it is announced that a lovesexy sde is coming, all this means is that someone smart saw a problem and attended to it.

TrivialPursuit said: Just off the top of my head, the tracked Lovesexy is the German release. So maybe it's the Euro version that is licensed to Legacy. Yes, it's the same songs, but it being tracked or not makes it a different version of the album, so that could be a distinction here. That’s cool about the promo CD! I don’t know those existed. I have a gold stamped promo vinyl with similar fades. Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com

This would be worth rereleasing. Not that it's particularly interesting to have, but they nevertheless constitute alternate edits of the tracks. I very much doubt they're gonna bother with it on a SDE though, as too few people know it exists and too many people would complain it's a waste of CD space. This aid, Sony bothered to rerelease The Versace Experience so you never know, it could also make for a RSD release ("the ultrarare promo of Lovesexy, with otherwise unreleased edits! Limited to 1000 copies!"), kind of like what they did with Bowie's Bowpromo promo LP from 1971. For these types of products as well as rehearsals and shows that don't deserve a deluxe release, a NPG Music Club type of service or official Bandcamp page would be another appropriate way to make the material available to the hardcore fanbase. . It is a thing of the youger generation(s). Same with the short attention spans. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
