That line at the beginning of the song "3121"? Looking up lyrics to before the singing starts on the title track for the album "3121" yields:
1. Bring mommy, she's loco, right? Hey Mami - This is loco, right?

We on the DTT says it's, "Bring mommy, she's local, right." Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I always thought it was 3: Hey mommy - It's loco right?

Hmmm. On first listen back in the day, and because he had Te Amo Corazon, and because later he was singing to Hayek and co. in that era... My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

I thought that was Italian, you know...Manuela Testolini back then, etc. But as far as that intro is concerned, I hear "Hey mami, this is loco right? "
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I think it’s “Bri’, mami. It’s local, right?” Bri’=Bria. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

She Selma theory is a good one. Plus, "3121" is a destination in the song. A place to be, to part. So to say, "Bring mommy, she's local, right?" would make more sense. "She live nearby? Tell her to c'mon over." Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Good grief. He says, “Bri, mami - it’s loco right?” “Bri” as in Bria Valente. “Loco” as in the track is crazy good. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I heard the title track was recorded in 2004 along with wall of Berlin and colonized mind.I dont think bria was in the picture until 2008 or 2009 http://princevault.com/in...title=3121 [Edited 1/3/21 20:56pm]

Lol If that were the case,"milk and honey" would have had bria on lead vocals rather than Tamar.

Do we have a winner?

I think its WAY more likely he's saying "Mami" especially because it's followed by "loco". My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

No one thinks it could be “Mani”? She was in the picture, his wife from 2001-2006. I’m going with that. Or, it’s “mommy” and he’s talking to Selma Hayek’s daughter (like in Hey Valentina) lol. Just kidding on that one. Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com
