Hmmm. On first listen back in the day, and because he had Te Amo Corazon, and because later he was singing to Hayek and co. in that era...

... it just clicked to me that he is saying "Hey mami, this is loco right?"

He also had some Spanish going on in a Musicology segue, right?

She Selma theory is a good one. Plus, "3121" is a destination in the song. A place to be, to part. So to say, "Bring mommy, she's local, right?" would make more sense. "She live nearby? Tell her to c'mon over."

That's not an unusual phrase for a man to use about a woman. Didn't he use that type of phrasing on "Valentina?" Mama, mommy. Six of one, really.

I think its WAY more likely he's saying "Mami" especially because it's followed by "loco".

It's a very common thing to say. Just like "Papi!"
