Someone else said it better, but it's more a case of Prince scrubbing the high romance and frolicking aspects from some of his Susannah songs (ie Forever in my life, big tall wall, tbodp). Tbh I find it really hard to get into the first version. I ain't black. i was answering his/her reply directly (not yours) and it made complete sense in context to me, and thats all that matters, to me... mind your business next time

- Agree. But the "we are all equal" is of course much more nuanced. I'm fully aware of that, but I need more time to give a thorough explanation. Either way… "listening to music" is a similar experience for all of us. How one reacts to it has been scientifically proven (first of all) as an individual approach. After that it is possible to divide or generalize groups. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder are with me too. Peace. -

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

- The same for me. I can still get super excited for new music. For instance, the new Roisin Murphy album is on strong repeat since it's release. Just love it. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

- I have to look up what a goofball is... but, isn't it worth much more to keep the peace here? I mean we're all here for the same puprle thing, right ? There's so much tention everywhere and I would like us all to at least try to be real ladies and gentlemen to eachother.. At least that is my humble wish, and I think/hope I'm not alone. Discussions are fine. Agree to disagree is even better. Just wishing we could all get along much better. That's all really. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

That's all really. - we are being "peaceful" though... there is no harm or foul in disagreeing... we are all so different so its a natural thing... and disagreements are also accompanied by uncomforatable exchanges ... and that is fine and natural as well... i see no problems as long as things dont become profane or physical... there is no anger or tension here...this is akin to harmless barbershop or beautyshop or barbecue banter and bickering... no harm no blood no foul...
