I like a lot of what he did with the extended version, but I prefer the acoustic demo in many ways. The released version feels massively over embellished by comparison. It's closer to the emotional essence of the song for me.

Love the tune, especially the extended mix as well as the acoustic versions he would do live where he would bust out an acoustic guitar solo at the end
