The song '7 Hours'

Forgive me if this has been discussed -- I did a site search and didn't find anything in the first half dozen or so results pages.

Does anyone have additional information about a song called '7 Hours'? Is it circulating? PV mentions it:

7 Hours is an unreleased track recorded at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. It was included as the fourth track on a CD found at Paisley Park Studios following Prince’s death. The other tracks (Big City, Mutiny, Your Show, and People Pleaser) were either recorded or played live in 2011-2013, suggesting that this track may have been recorded at some point in that timeframe. It is not known if the version included on the CD was a live in-studio take with his live band, or a full studio recording for the band members to learn. Nothing else is known about the track.

I'm torn: Of course I want to hear it, but given that so much of his unreleased material is circulating these days, I feel a little relieved there's still something I haven't heard yet. Maybe a little mystery is a good thing. wink

There are many songs and projects from the later period of Prince's life, from 2010-16, that remain unreleased. He's reported to have recorded around 200 songs with 3RDEYEGIRL, including their second album, in addition to working on a new MPLS sound album with full orchestra, a jazz album and the Black is the New Black album. And they are just the projects we know of as the two new exclusive songs given to Tidal in 2015 - 'If Eye Could Get Ure Attention' and 'Free Urself' - have not been identified to a particular session or project, though Prince did tweet that he was considering them for Phase 3. In addition. Morris Hayes mentioned there were around twenty unreleased albums from recent years he knew of, including Welcome 2 America in 2011, which Hayes also produced. So I'd say there was still a good degree of mystery yet.

As you can probably tell, I also share your interest in this time period and hope at least some of his later works will soon be released.
