What are the best songs to come out during the 3rdeye girl internet singles? Seems like Prince was more prolific than ever during 2012-2016 and that he was dropping songs left and right.What are your favorites?
Currently I cant get enough of "Free Urself" ,"let's go crazy reloaded" and the remix of "Rocknroll love affair".It is much better than the studio version I dont think these songs get enough praise. I still havent ever listened to octopus heart or menstrual cycle because they are instrumentals but maybe they are great? [Edited 12/17/20 2:23am] | |

I'm guessing the Remix 7 version. Search, RnR Affair Remix by Prince and 3RDeyegirl on youtube. At least, I'm hoping they mean this one and not the awful Jamie Lewis remixes! RIP  | |

- The most 'grown up' sound, songwriting credit worthy, the best Prince acting his age and energy, where the 3rdEyeGril had nothing to do with, is his solo effort (+Michael Bland +The Hornheadz) ''Groovy Potential''. Just a great timeless fully enjoyable tune. In this tune you hear he was releaxed and (as if he) felt no reason to proof himself to anyone. Just a brilliant gem. Slowly building towards a sparkling end with a funky rhythm guitar lick. I just love this with it's warm horns and far from slick perfection production. Stripped of the superfluous frills that were all too often present in other tracks of that era. Still feel this song is onverlooked by many. Or let me put it like this; imho of course. -
