Which sensual ballad should have been released in 1990?

From Adore 1987, through W2RIL 1988, Scandalous 1989 and Insatiable 1991 there would been a logical gap to fill in 1990. Joy In Repetition is not sensual in the same way as the ones above. It's more poetic and has song writing credibility. But, which song(s) (bootlegs, or side projects) would have fit the genre in 1990. I'm not as familiar with all his songs during the 1989-1990 sessions.

Get Blue, maybe? Not with the Louie Louie arrangement though.

I understand Open Book. But The Grand Progression and Get Blue I file under the same category as Joy In Repetition, they're not really "sexy". And it's really a stretch with Open Book, but the melody is almost too good to pass on.

I mean, it's a love song.

The songs you mention are love songs.

Open Book is a break up track.

What are you talking about?!TGP is a pure love song - about how love and a relationship continually enables him to find the cosmic progression of cords. It’s moving but not depressing, Shirley.

Ah yes, I can def see the similarities betwixt Question of U and Insatiable.

Martha was a prolific lady.

Yeah that! The regular version is bliss as well. Or, and how could I forget this one, Pink Cashmere!

But I guess my original question factors in what new material he produced during those months before Graffiti Bridge.
