Freaks On This Side is funky. It's an absolute delight. As are one or two others on there - oddly, I don't care much for Come On, nor The One...though I do find Madsex, Shoobedoop (spelling?) very cool and When U Love Somebody nicely uplifting. Wasted Kisses goes without saying, obvs. |

Yeah these two songs are definately funky, I love 'em! 
I also like Wasted Kisses a lot, which is not a funk song but surely is a great song IMO. Others I like (but to a lesser extent) are I Like Funky Music and Freaks On This Side, but can't listen to these two too often or I get annoyed by them. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

I don't mind a few songs on NPS, but yeah, it's not a high point for me. 3 good/great songs, 4 meh ones, and 4 I'd rather never hear again.
