SOTT Remaster vs Original & Semantics Has anyone done an A-B comparison of the new CDs vs the old ones? Or even just to your own ears? From what I've heard, the new ones are just a bit "cleaner" and I don't know how to describe it better! If anyone else has any specific examples, i'd love to check them out, either better or worse that the originals.
Also speaking of remastering, this may just be a matter of semantics, but are the outtakes really "2020 remasters" since they've never been released?

The twinkling organs on Slow Love.
The background vocals a bit more present on Forever in my Life. The cracking and crisp beat on SOTT, It, Hot Thing. Play in the Sunshine sounds live in the studio - so many layers on this one. Beautiful Night also sounds much more live. [Edited 10/6/20 10:28am] | |
