One of my favorite tracks of his last few years. There's a parallel universe where this song is Prince's last top 40 hit, like Bowie's Lazarus. It's released in March or April 2016 with a proper video and a promotion to play it at your favorite cafe. Then Prince passes away, and it moves up the charts with sadness and poignancy. Oh well, that'd didn't happen. .

I think it was one of the most beautiful Prince tracks from the 2010s. "Wish eye had a dollar 4 everytime U say, don't U miss the feeling Music gave u, back in the day"

One of my all time favorite tracks. I just wish there was a version without the affirmation introduction. I've tried editting it out because that silliness just ruins a classic. I would also love Affirmation III without the affirmation.

As I ve said at the time, Way Back Home should have been the first single. It could have some exposition on radio. Instead of the terrible FunkNRoll, that hurts the hears of the casual listener. WBH was a pleasure to the ears - even if plagiarized from Ryuchi Sakamoto.

It's fantastic but I have a hard time listening to it now. Reminds me of Prince's death and also my divorce. He died the day after my ex filed.
