Blenheim Palace Prince The Summer Extravaganza

August 31st 1991 - still have my tickets for this i often wonder how it would have turned out with support acts c+c music factory color me bad.

i remember getting the train to London to change my tickets for a new date only to be told it was cancelled

yepp. I took it up me to arrange travel and tickets for a lot of people to save on cost for all. But in the end with registered mail and cancel fees we all took some loss.

That was to be my first Prince concert and I was gutted when it was cancelled.

In the end, I was issued tickets for Earls Court in June 1992 as a replacement and that was my first show. Ended up going to 4 of them.
If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

Yep same for me booked a ticket and travel on the coach for it But I did get my money back

I was also planning to go. I bought my ticket in a cigar shop called Ben Noz on the Amsterdamse Straatweg in Utrecht. Amazing how I still remember this, probably because in the pre-internet days, it was more difficult to get a ticket. I did get my money back.
There is a rehearsal (without Prince) circulating which gives us an idea of how it might have been: a mix between the Nude and the D&P tour with songs like Elephants and Flowers thrown in.
