Of course. If you Google Forever In My lLfe (Early Vocal Run-Through) it's the first result. Let that be a lesson for you going forward.

I love the warm sentiment this version has. Nevertheless, the released version will always do it for me. The mis-alignment of the backing vocals makes that track truly unique. I'm so excited that we got this though, truly an insight into his process. Really looking forward to this release

Based on the comments I expected it to go country. It never did.

- Brilliant study material to compare both songs. This is a VOCAL RUN THROUGH, thus not a demo... - Just love it ! Waw. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Great to hear this! My only gripe is that little honky tonk piano and La, la, la bit at the beginning (then it cuts off before the 1st verse), seems to spoil the start for me. They should of left that bit out of the final mix - I'm sure it was there on the tape, but i doubt Prince would of left that in! just listened agian and it seems to be 'cut and pasted' from further on in the song. As much as I enjoy unreleased songs, I'm just as enamored with the creative process, especially when it comes to arrangement and production, which I feel are an overlooked but just as (if not more so) important aspect of song recording. This song is a perfect example of that. It is absolutely, completely wonderful to hear. It's so "un-Princely" yet exactly "Princely", even sounding musically slightly 78-79 to my ears. Love it!

On first listen it reminded me of "Something To Talk About" by Bonnie Raitt. At least the opening section and melody.

Listening this and thinking its sad P and Susannah had to split... in any picture you saw them in, they both looked happy. After like my 4th listen, this might be my favorite version now.. the background vocals on the SOTT are great and unique... but I’m loving the vibe here with the guitar and bass throughout Oh and that little honky tonk piano riff at the beginning was a nod to something... guess it put him in the mood.

Edit of this version could have definitely been a radio hit. Nice.

What exactly does 'Early Vocal Run-Through' mean? Reasonable to assume that it's because that is what's written on the source tapes? Also, is a 'Vocal Run-Through' a standard term in the industry? It feels like it doesn't tell the full story of what this is. It's been commented on in other threads about how the way the WE might name things and the way that PRINCE might neame things is legitimately different. What is 'early', and what is 'final' any way?
Pah, just musing …
Like others, I like this, but the raw edge of the album version is a real part of its appeal. Another great example of Prince's tendency twoards maximalism, then occasional realisation that stripping it down will give it something extra. [Edited 8/27/20 10:56am]

It's really good, a great song in any version. Only listened once for now as I don't want to have these singles played out when the album arrives. RIP
