That was to be my first Prince concert and I was gutted when it was cancelled. In the end, I was issued tickets for Earls Court in June 1992 as a replacement and that was my first show. Ended up going to 4 of them. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

I was also planning to go. I bought my ticket in a cigar shop called Ben Noz on the Amsterdamse Straatweg in Utrecht. Amazing how I still remember this, probably because in the pre-internet days, it was more difficult to get a ticket. I did get my money back. There is a rehearsal (without Prince) circulating which gives us an idea of how it might have been: a mix between the Nude and the D&P tour with songs like Elephants and Flowers thrown in. If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.
