Unreleased Purple Rain Cover Outtake Photo

According to Apollonia this was one of the photos that was supposed to be the cover photo for the album and movie..

That sure looks like a photo someone else on the set shot from the side while they were posing for the actual photo (even though there are other photos from the same angle where she's looking at the camera and he's still look at down).

No doubt there are dozens and dozens of photos taken during any shoot for a project. Sometimes, it's just one that pops out that becomes the photo to use.

But yeah, glad they didn't use this one. Actually would've made a nice cover for "Take Me With U" but I love the existing cover for that.
