Yes, he is. He is auctioning some pics on the same auction site that's selling Prince's cloud guitar and they're posted on there without watermark, so it's okay, I suppose.

these sets *so far* are far from being comprehensive... it was funny when Michael Howe acted like how 1999 was so complete and that how not having Colleen on it would be a glaring omission...

it would not be so much of a mix as a channel level balance and mastering to match the live sound. That assumes there are multiple channels of different instruments or mics... you would not want them all set to the same level...

if they were recorded to one tape through a sound board I am not sure what they could do... same if it was one channel not through the sound board.

Under the assumption that this show wasn't slated for release back then, then what they would most likely have are the raw multitrack recordings from that show in the vault and maybe initial mixdowns for reference - so there most likely would be a new mix made just like there was for the live show included in the 1999 Deluxe set

Multitrack?

If it wasn't intended for release one could simply record the mixdown (pre house eq).

That would give the mix that was on the PA in the venue.

A stereo tape would be enough...

I am just going by what we could logically expect going by the process Michael Howe/David Z used for the show that was included on the 1999 Deluxe set - which did indeed include a new mix from the two-inch multi track reels

No, it is not okay. The alternate SOTT covers are not on the auction site. Someone saved the images from Jeff's website, removed the watermark in Photoshop and uploaded them to Facebook. So whoever did that... the brick is for you.
