Versace Experience 2006/2007 question

Hi,

.

I'm confused because I have 3 Versace Prince mixes from 2006 and I'm not sure what's what.

.

2 are from a bootleg by label Pure Funk, titled The Versace Experience 2006:

.

MIX 01: Credited as "Spring 2006", it is a mix of various songs, not all Prince (Dee-Lite and Cameo are there, too, for: example), and it seems to me P's titles were merely remixed by a DJ from the released version, and contain no involvement by Prince or remix based on the multitracks.

.

MIX 02, VERSION 01: Credited as "Spring/Summer 2007", it contains an ATWIAD/Love/Black Sweat/Kiss/Shhh!/Kiss medley that was clearly rerecorded/remixed by Prince himself. Shhh! fades out brutally into Kiss, in a way that seems unnatural, even more since Kiss appears to just be the same as before Shhh!, only repeated. I found this version on Fashion TV's official channel: https://www.youtube.com/w...sE5X2PvKxo and it also says Spring/Summer 2007.

.

MIX 02, VERSION 02: Then there's a version I've had for years, that I believe I ripped from a TV broadcast of the fashion show that was put on YT but obviously wasn't the one from Fashion TV above. I'm not 100% sure however, but I have a memory of doing that. This one is a ATWIAD/Love/Black Sweat/Kiss/Shhh! as above, except Shhh! does not fade (it's longer and complete) and there's no second Kiss at the end. According to the research I had done back then for my website, that show took place (and was probably aired) on 09/29/2006, which adds up with the reviws in this thread https://prince.org/msg/7/392932?pr that state that P's OST couldbeheardabove the Sping/Summer 2007 collection presented on that day in Milan (and followed by a stand-alone Prince concert http://princevault.com/in...er_2006-am)

.

MIX 02, VERSION 03: And finally there's a 3rd version, from BFTP 2.0. It is relatively similar to the 2 above except that it has a much longer intro, of which bits can be heard on the versions above but in a much edited form. This intro contains The Journey To The Hanamachi and Somewhere Over The Rainbow and, even more confusingly, a very different intro to ATWIAD, with verse and chorus (ATWIAD is only the extended instrumental part on the 2 above). Then it goes into Lolita/Satisfied/Black Sweat/Kiss/Shhh! (the latter is complete and doesn't segue back into Kiss).

.

So My guess would be that MIX 01 has no Prince involvement but WTF is going on with MIX 02 existing in 3 different versions??? Princevault only lists the alternate versions of the songs on each song's individual page but does not appear to differenciate both versions, since it only lists one version of ATWIAD (not 2) and include both Satisfied and Love as rerecordings made for "a 2006 fashion show".

.

As always, this is part of my research for my discography website so any help is much, much welcome yes

Yeah, un4tunately and AFAIK no original cassette of the 2006 version has ever surfaced. But if it had, since it wasn't even distributed to the audience, it would sell for fortunes on eBay.
