Hit N Run Albums

I have no idea if a thread was created about the
Hit N Run albums.
I have a question that does anybody happened to know whether the Hit N Run albums would've been Prince Realising most of the songs from the vault.
The pictures that were created for the albums seems
To suggest so.

This has been discussed a lot. I don't think anyone has any idea what the other covers stood for and what future volumes (if any) were supposed to contain. Hopefully, Prince let someone know what his plans were and that someone will, one day, speak.

A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Back in 2015, right before Phase 2 was released, I was told that the plan as far back as around 2013 was for a series of HitNRun albums along with all of whatever else he'd been working on. It was his way of releasing some of the vault material without compromising his spirituality.
However, by the time Phase One was released, he'd already unofficially cut ties with his former faith without fully being disfellowshipped. So, by that time, it didn't matter (see "This Could Be Us" bridge lyrics) and he even was toying with the idea of playing "Darling Nikki" during the PNM tour before settling on "Dirty Mind".
He was starting to come full circle and in full acceptance of all his complexities.
It's such a shame he couldn't get well enough to put a lot of his plans into fruition.

i didn't realize he was on the outs with the JWs. I need to listen to This Could Be Us again! I do remember being hopeful that he was going to start releasing vault stuff when seeing the different Phases.
