Not sure what the OP is on about but........... Prince's radio precense has definitely increase here in Australia since 2016. To the point where Purple Rain in full is played regularly on the local Bogan (red neck equivelant) FM station Triple M.

Like when I list Prince songs in my head, I don't consider this a true definitive playlist unless we include proteges and guest writing credits. Some of those 80s stations if you're including say your "Glamorous Life"s and "Manic Monday"s... a solid chunk of that playlist hour can be P themed.

I'm just saying you can have a solid department store shopping experience out there if you catch them at the perfect time.
