Originals 2

PR SD or Parade SD w/Color UTCM

Even if PR SD doesn't see a 2020 release, it is surely complete and ready to go imo

I'm only really massively interested in vinyl reissues of TGE, Come, Exodus and TBA, but Come almost certainly won't be out until 2021 earliest as per the Legacy contract, and I can't see any of the others coming out for different reasons.

So I *think* we'll get TRC and Crystal Ball from Legacy and perhaps SOTT and Parade SDs and another 'Originals' type release. And maybe something like Strange Tales From The Rain for RSD. That wouldn't be a bad set of offerings over a whole year, TBH.

I think the estate will continue to target and release more of his 80's work (realistically, that's what the general public wants), my guess will be a deluxe version treatment of SOTT will be next, then Parade and finally ATWIAD.

The question becomes does any of his 70's, 90s, 00's and 10's albums get the same treatment as 1999 and PR. We shall see, I hope I am still alive when all of this comes out.

my wishlist would be PARADE SD released beginning to mid april.

ORIGINALS 2.0 released for the celebration in june.

and another SD release, be it DIRTY MIND or any other, in november.

meantime, i hope there will be some little bits and pieces that
will be rereleased, like the Versace Experience etc was this year.

I'm guessing the "Prince" album will be remastered and get a light deluxe version. Piurely based on the feel for you release this year.

I think we might see one of the other big albums remastered at the end of 2020 ... my guess would be Parade ... but my preference would be Dirty Mind and/or Sign O' The Times

I don't think we will see that is a singular release, it will be attached to PR SD.

I imagine they'll want to release the documentary and the physical release at the same time for maximum synergy and PR SD doesn't seem to be in the cards this year. Apple isn't going to wait forever to release. Everything's been done for awhile now.

Could be, but the same could be said for maximizing the wow factor PR SD, be it 2020 or 2021. That concert would be a giant draw for PR SD. We will see, I honestly feel PR SD will get a 2020 release though, it will have much more mass appeal than the very flawed PR Deluxe from a few years ago. Well, again, Apple has the exclusive rights to the making-of documentary made out of rehearsal footage leading up to First Ave 83 (and I guess the digital rights to the concert? That's what the Variety article a long time back was implying with news on the auction. Around the time PR Deluxe came out)

I seriously doubt Apple is going to wait until 2021 or beyond to release so Warner can include the physical in a PR SD release.

Standalone makes more sense. 1 live release, 1 original release, 1 super deluxe for 2020. Two priced cheap, one luxury.

That would be a good year any way you cut it. I just hope we get someone new to mix the songs on Originals 2, and that it is a double CD.

It would be cool if the Emancipation outtake "2020" was released sometime next year. New Year's Day would be cool.

i guess time will tell

intrigued to see how Primary Waves involvement will now impact on any further decsions of what gets released. Keep an eye on Jay Corns social media as he is in touch with the CEO i think.
