What the fuck would I gain making this up? I know the difference between LP and CD.

I've been following the price daily and it's been fascinating; It started in the 55 dollar range, went up to 69, went all the way down to about 40 something and all the way up to $203.83.

And yes it's possible that the vinyl could've ALSO sold at the same price for a brief moment.

To all the folks berating me, just check prices twice a day and get back to me in a couple weeks.

And...yes, on occassion Amazon is offering it on their page through third-party-sellers such as it is currently. But when it did hit its peak the seller was Amazon.

BTW, I just checked Ebay and it seems to be possbily selling for less but I haven't seen what a new US version CD box actually SOLD for on there.

The website CamelCamelCamel which tracks Amazon prices says the 1999 Super Deluxe CD was never higher than the current third party $189 price which was added yesterday. Well here's what I can tell you with unimpeachable certainty; when THE CD was listed for its high the homepage did not say Amazon, I believe it said it was unavaialbe. Then when I clicked on the next page where it shows third-party sellers and who the set is selling through, on THAT page it listed several third-party-sellers, BUT the very first listing at the $203 price was fulfilled through AMAZON. Fulfilled through AMAZON not a third-party seller. Whether this was some mistake or an anomaly or such I don't know?

But that, for me, is my last word on the subject.

You might be right about fulfillment but that doesn't mean it was sold by Amazon, only filfilled by them. Those items still have their price set and are sold by the third party. But what do I know, I'm nearly 50.
