In the film we all know and love, Unbreakable (Shyamalan), Mr Glass (Sam Jax) commits atrocities to find someone who is opposite him. In decades time he finds one. I atribute some of these current and some past, revelations of some folks going against the purple wood grain of sorts in their likes or dislikes as Mr Glass finding such purple opinions to show tht there is something rare out there from the typil purple fan. For example we currently have
1. Someone who dislikes Camille songs and alter-ego
2. Someone recently reported to dislike Moonbeam Levels
There is nothing wrong with someone disliking certain purple canon well-loved songs but it is RARE to find.

Sooner or later, as time goes on, they will be found. Like Mr Glass found Dunn.

Thats not a Mr Glass imho. Its kind of bland paint by numbers Prince, so thats a reasonable one to dislike.

Automatic I just find really repetetive and I don't like the production. In general I don't like the squeeky synth sounds used and while he used it a lot during this era for some reason it just really grinds on me in this song.

Something in the Water is similarly marred by the production for me. It's not the song per se because I adore some of the live renditions, especially the one from the birthday show, which I can't just listen to once and have to jump back and listen to again. I just don't like it as it is on the album.

Lady Cab Driver is not objectionable to me but I just don't find it anything special, merely meh. I know so many here love it, so that's why I mentioned it.

Housequake is just not special, I suppose the best I can say about it is that sometimes I don't skip it. The lyrics are just nonsense, with Prince just singing about another dance, which he wants to make happen. It didn't happen. File it alongside Jughead and Horny Pony in the failed dance campaigns.

So, people have different tastes in music? Very interesting. I am aghast, I tell you.

The Glss in reverse. Im thinking of the revered songs being disliked. I guess liking Arms is akin to being The Beast from Split/Glass. I will say that it appears over time, Arms Of Oh Ryan has gotten more love little by little.
