Characteristics Prince Shared with Your other Favorite Artists Prince had a great sense of humor, and was very athletic with his basketball and ping-pong.
Alice Cooper is another fav of mine, he is hilarious in interviews, ran track successfully in high school and is an amazing golfer.
My other favorite is Mick Jagger, again a former track guy, remains athletics, and I quite often funny in interviews.
Another characteristic all 3 share is their volume of work over the years, all very prolific, either solo or with bandmates.
Anyway just wonder if anyone else likes to share the parallels between Prince and their other fav musical acts. merf

Hmm! Interesting thread. Prince, Sly Stone & George Clinton all considered the studio to be their primary instrument & it felt like it was their sanctuary too. Hence why they were so prolific at recording their music and why there’s a sense of weird & whimsical intimacy in their music. Also, all three created movements that were extensions of their identity and as result many artists nourished from those movements. All 3 developed a musical language completely their own.
