He was pretty fucked up over Vanity's passing

Bingo!

But that is a pretty ugly way to go.

Think Romeo and Juliette. Tristan and Islode. It was a Leibestod. Love/Death. Is this ugly?

Early onset alzheimers or dementia does.

This is a prettier way to go? Really, there is no pretty way to go.

It could also explain him deciding to do three different show with Montreux 2013 (just to say that he still could) before

That was three years prior

doing a bunch of HNR shows

Did you read Judith Hill’s statement? A member of Third Eye Girl decided to get pregnant and Prince was upset that his plans for this group were changed so he started a new group and then something happened that changed those plans

before moving onto a Piano & A Microphone where he could follow where his mind was taking him without cues or endless rehearsals.

Have you seen any of the footage from these shows? There was no early onset Alzheimers/Dementia going on. He was saying goodbye. If you don’t believe me, listen to Lisa Coleman at 33:00

https://www.youtube.com/w...HtvAMqrE9Q

Bobby Z. trying to offer a tip about drug use, and blaming the third eye girls.

Why do you think the old timers are blaming those around him at the time of his death? Because they knew or should have known the reason why and at the very least warned those around him who had no clue. They don’t want to take the public hits that Judith Hill is taking. Therefore, they are craftily shifting blame. If you really study Prince’s artist output this was almost inevitable. Who do you really blame? It was Prince’s choice, no one else. In my opinion, if it wasn’t pills, it would have been a more gruesome method.

I doubt Prince knew the pills he was taking were laced with fatal doses of fentanyl. He would've specifically had to request that sort of thing which would leave him dying in a most embarrassing fashion.

Prince knew exactly what he was taking. See Judith Hill’s statement (1) he had Narcan researched after the airplane incident, because he wanted to know what he had been given and how it affected his body. Do you think he didn’t do this with the Fentanyl pills? (2) Again, in Judith Hill’s statement, he tells her about pain in his hands and needing pain medication to perform. Fentanyl would be just perfect for that as it is short-term acting narcotic, meaning it wears of in a couple of hours. This would be perfect for getting him through a show or rehearsal (3) read the police report, there are numerous documentations of half narcotic pills. Drug addicts do not cut narcotic pills in half. My mother took narcotics for years for legitimate pain. Taking narcotic pills to manage pain does not mean one is an addict. My mother was not an addict. She often took half pills to get pain relief while trying to stave off the side effect – constipation.

It would be intriguing to know where he draws the line now – among the covers he and Andy Allo recorded was an old song of his, I Love U in Me, which is hardly Sunday school fare, while a journalist invited to Paisley Park to hear his recent album Plectrumelectrum was startled to see Prince run from the room when a particularly spicy lyric he’d “forgotten about” blared from the speakers – but his answer is a little vague. “It just makes me think more in terms of detail.

Read the lyrics to this song. Who is ‘U’ in I Love U in Me? Prince had hand-written lyrics in his bag from his trip to Atlanta. The lyrics were to U Got The Look. Who is ‘U’ in this song? ‘U’ in both songs is the same person. See Bingo above for who ‘U’ is. Prince knew that ‘U’ had a fatal complication of dialysis at the point this interview took place. It was only a matter of time. That is why he moved to the Piano and a Microphone Tour and had that reaction to this song. I don’t think he though it would happen as fast as it did. I believe he though he would be back from Australia before death occurred. He was stuck down under when it happened. See police report for the interview with Dr. Boo, Kirk’s dentist. Prince’s sound man, Scotty Baldwin, quit him due to his behavior in the wake of ‘U’s death. Scotty Baldwin did an interview where he said Prince became very difficult and Scotty was not having any ‘fun’, so he quit.

(the coroner's office and law enforcement-who did a piss poor job with the investigation)

Excellent point. However, read the police report. Who’s name never once is mentioned? That name is ‘U”. If it had been, it would have changed everything. They knew what they were doing by not mentioning this name at all. See the notes on the Shelia E interview. She tells police if she had any useful information, she would have contacted them. Shelia E tweeted news of ‘U’s death two months earlier. Why did no one mention this name? They all in a lot of ways owe their careers to ‘U’, I’m sure they don’t like this fact at all.

Read Judith Hill’s statement. Police asked her point blank if she though he was suicidal after she reported what Prince he was saying to her on the trip to Atlanta. She says 50-50. Later she says Prince did not talk about past girlfriends to her. She is too young to know about ‘U’ and if she did, she probably believed the public narrative that it was long ago, in the past, and no longer mattered. Judith even told police to talk to his past girlfriends and associates. She said talk to everyone. She was right on. They did not follow her sage advice.

Considering the amount of Fentanyl in Prince’s system and Judith Hill’s statement, suicide should have been their first though. It wasn’t. Probably for the same reasons people here don’t want to believe it or think it is fan fiction. Plus, police were so focused on getting to the source of the Fentanyl they weren’t listening.

Speaking of not listening go to the police file. Check out the pictures of Prince’s office the yellow room. He left some CD’s on the desk under the stack of paper money. One of the CD’s is The Best of Missing Persons. The first song on that album is called Words. Look up the lyrics to this song. The words say basically what is the use of talking when no one listens anymore. Prince was sending a message with this CD. It’s part of the suicide note. How his death was handled by police, family, associates and fans, proves Prince’s point. No one was listening.

No one listened really to what Judith Hill was saying. If you read it and understand what she communicated to police, suicide can be your only conclusion. She said 50-50 when the police asked her about suicide because (1) she was in love with him and very likely does not want it to be true and (2) she didn’t understand the reason why and didn’t want to conclude suicide in the absence of a credible reason. However, it was not her call to make. It was the Medical Examiner’s call. I don’t think the police discussed Judith’s statement with the medical examiner. The police were so focus on how Prince obtained the Fentanyl they didn’t hear what Judith was truly saying.

Everybody should be treating Judith Hill as the hero. Many are slandering her. She should be treated like the NYPD after 9/11. She went into the burning building, that was Prince, and that was about to collapse down around her. She saved him from his first attempt. She gave him love in his final days. If you care about Prince, you should show her some love.

In fact, that is what Prince wanted you to do. See Judith Hill’s video for her song Back In Time. It’s Prince’s last video and part of the suicide note. This is Prince’s goodbye letter to Judith. See Judith’s caption for the video. It was due to be released in April 2016. She holds it for more than two years because of his death. The lyrics tell why Prince left Judith. “If I had some magic, I would set you free. I’d make you not love her anymore as much as you love me.” Her is ‘U’. “If I had the power, I’d travel back in time to the day the both of you two met and somehow make you mine”. Prince loved Judith but could not forget ‘U’. He sets Judith free. He is telling her he is still with her spiritually, even though he is not with her physically. He baths her in purple light. The camera angle from above is Prince looking down on Judith. He rains down confetti, snow and purple rain on her. He washes away any taint of ‘U’ from Judith and she emerges as her own person but bathed in his purple light.

Study the music. Read the clues.

Prince was a master artist beyond anything the average Prince fan and even his associates can or did comprehend. If you think his death was ugly, you’re not listening. Tragic yes, but not ugly.

Some interesting points but I think Vanity's death was only a part of his "discomfort". I would not give her a starring role.

It seemed to me he was losing his health, his drug use was going to be made public with resultant shaming, his physical condition would have prompted scrutiny etc.

He would have been in endless "spin control" and for what? He looked so ill to me.

The big thing is that it seems like people are doubting that it's possible to perform at that level with cognitive issues but music is one of the last things to go.

There are other threads to go to you know ROGIFAN! I wish the mods would block you off these death threads.

It's just that he often needed help remembering lyrics, even as a young man.

In 1988 or so he played with the Bangles and forgot many of the lyrics to Manic Monday (It is funny)

Also, there is a 2002 Berlin show where he is tranferring a big sheet with lyrics from one keyboard to another. He wrote lyrics quickly in many instances and did not remember all of them.

I don't think he placed as much value on remembering lyrics as he did with his music.

Yes it does and there are clearly a great number of people out here who don't believe what they've been fed so far, even if you are trying to insist they must. No one is trashing him nor anyone else here, but your continuing obsession with a thread you despise and a subject you don't want to see is truly amazing. What exactly is your agenda here? Out of all the threads on all the different sub-forums on the org, you insist on harassing people on the one thread where they want to discuss the circumstances of his death. Why? How is it not harrassment of others for you and anyone like you who does not like these threads to continually come in here and keep bullying people who are trying to talk amongst themselves? Why can't you stay away from something you claim to dislike? Because we are at the point now, after 28+ postings from you personally in a thread you don't like, where we have to look at what your personal motivations are for trying to stop others from talking. Why do you insist on disrupting conversation in this thread? Why can't you find anything else at all on the entire site to amuse yourself with? Are you obsessed? Are you looking to incite trouble to get the thread pulled? Because it sure looks that way disbelief

I essentially skip over/ignore certain posters...makes for a more peaceful day.

No one can stop that, he is gone from this life. None of this affects him nor concerns him anymore.

The way people people think and talk about Prince does matter. Why don't we all go stomp his ashes, he won't know. Anything anybody says is fair game and part of "closure" for themselves. Trash him, trash his family, trash his friends, especially trash the women he loved, no worries. All part of regurgitating his death.

No one, and I will say it a second time, no one, is stomping on P's ashes or trashing our beloved.

When I think of Prince and the possibility of suicide, I always go to the lyric "what's the hurry/to die without tryin'/if you could sell your worries/would anyone buy 'em?" and hope he still believed in that.

Then stop appearing on these threads because otherwise you are trolling. For the last three years and a half years you have been whining about people continue to talk about this but yet you continue to appear on these death threads. There are other threads to go to you know ROGIFAN! I wish the mods would block you off these death threads.

I spend all of two seconds on these threads. Last time I checked people are allowed to have opinions.

God Bless Prince. Overdosed on pain killers for his hip they say yet was seen riding his bike the day before he died....... it does not add up. Prince was very health conscious against drugs and alcohol. I highly doubt he committed suicide given his spiritual beliefs.

-

He was murdered, same as MJ, and cremated the day after. The reality is there is both good and bad folks in the world. All the rest of the media narrative stories is BS.

-

Prince called it ‘this system of things’. He was writing a book that he said was going have "bombshells" of information. Some know the truth. It was widely observed that His final Instagram post, published a week before his death, contained the message “Just When You Thought You Were Safe“. To make matters even more suspicious, the caption on this Instagram post was mysteriously deleted after his death. The parallels with Michael Jackson’s death are astonishing.

-

Prince wrote slave on his cheek, spoke against chemtrails, spoke against the fat cats on walls street in live Leno performance, spoke against the gatekeepers and the industry in NPMC essays, Michael Jackson fought Sony, got half his masters and now he is dead and Sony got everything. Prince fought Warner Bros for 18 years for the rights to his own music, won it back and now he is dead. Those responsible didn’t do it for the money though – they don’t need the money.

-

PS – I have been here 22 years from day one under different usernames and before that on alt.music.prince – and yet the Mod deleted my comment – so much for free speech. Some orgers on here see that the official story does not add up. Peace to you All and God Bless Prince.

LoveGalore

There's a YouTube video of just the insane calls the detectives received in the aftermath of Prince's death and sometimes these threads remind me of that.

Especially the one lady who was like, "Prince was tapping my phone at the time. He wasn't doing anything illegal, he had permission to do it, but that's how he knew I broke my nose" or some shit. Smh. Prince attracted some batshit insane peeps.

The real question is - why do you care if I post here, or what I say? Especially enough to count my posts. What does it matter how often anyone posts? (it doesn't).

Some here want people off the thread, I've bullied no one. This is an open discussion on a public forum. It runs the gamut. A poster above me thinks Prince was murdered...again.
