What are some accomplishments that Prince would be proud about of his career? There’s always threads about Prince”s flops and disappointments. I don`t think we can make any claim to know his mind, but I would speculate that performing with some of the great musicians like Miles Davis would rate as high points for him. | |

I think he would like his work with Chaka Khan, George Clinton, Mavis Staples, Larry Graham, Maceo Parker and some of the Minneapolis crew would have made him proud. | |

Honestly, whenever I see a tiny young Black female with a guitar playing "crossover" music that still has some soul, or Black experimental performance (a Solange, Tyler the Creator, etc) I think he would have been so damn proud to know he gave birth to that. Because that all went away for a while, and he held that candle, and to see it return, and be more female dominated, strikes me as very Prince. Like he raised a generation. He probably would have to have lived another decade before he was proud of the cultural shift he created, but you can see it everywhere, and you know at some point he would have thought "I've been wearing heels for 35 years, so what?", and the light bulb would have gone off. | |

He crossover Got his masters back toward the end and man he fought for that for years and that should be his biggest accomplishment Huge creative control Had a chance and help to start Paisley Park Made some movies His dreams cause him to travel and see the world | |
