Whoa! counting the chickens before they hatch

The rumor was that 1999: Deluxe and Parade: Deluxe were compiled and completed at the same time. So I'd guess that Parade will be next.

If I were guessing the upcoming release schedule, for fun, I'd say 1999: Deluxe, First Ave 1983, Originals 2, Parade: Deluxe.

I think Michael Howe mentioned that "a couple" (I believe those were the words) were in the pipeline around the time he was giving interviews for the Originals release, so I'd imagine we're going to get at least one more in the semi-near future. Honestly, I don't see a scenario in which we don't get more deluxe versions. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I guess they probably will for most of his 80s albums. I can see similar sets being designed for Controversy, ATWIAD, Parade, SOTT, Lovesexy, Graffiti Bridge, D&P, and The Gold Experience. I imagine these would be profitable as 'Deluxe' editions. The others might be a little too obscure for the general market. A Batman one would be great, but I imagine that would be a shitstorm of legalities (hence why you never see "Batdance" on any Greatest Hits compilations). We will see, I guess...

On CD 3,4,5 I would say probably not given the age of the recordings, meaning at the time Prince recorded these, there were not nearly as many sticky hands around being tempted to get a copy for themselves. Probably about 1/4 of them though have beeb circulating in one form or another for many years.

I hope they make SDE's for each and every album, especially for the WB era. They all deserve one, and I have to imagine there's enough bonus material to make 'em each quality releases.
