Fat chance. Nobody but the few thousand fans pre-ordered it, and it's still available to (pre) order everywhere else. It probably just some update to the listing, that's why it isn't available.
I don;t think this will outsell the Purple Rain Deluxe set.

Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:

Prince "1999 (Super Deluxe Edition)"
Estimated arrival date: December 04 2019 - December 05 2019

Back in the day, I went to the wrekka store on a Monday after school (as that's when they got new releases). The new Prince album had been delayed a week (The Black album). Same thing next week. Then cancelled.

However: it was reviewed in the NME, so I sent a tape and SAE to the jounalist and, bless him, I got a copy on my tape.

Is there a confirmed single going to be released out of the previously unreleased songs? I kind of wonder if Turn It Up, Purple Music, or anything else hold GR radio air play.

I would love it if they took the alternate version of "Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)",created a video for it and released it as a promo single for this project.
