The price will drop as it gets closer to release date.Amazon will give us the lower price,even if you pre-order it now (as I have done).

I'm hoping but the digital edition is listed at $50 so I doubt there's going to be a big drop before release.

It's a MAGNIFICENT album to pull U into the purple kingdom. Even though it was Prince's(r.i.p.) fourth album. He still was considered a new underground artist at the time. This one was his FIRST true crossover into a more massive audience before the after Purple Rain fans came along . Although I was already a WELL ESTABLISHED FAN even by then & NEVER left . This one remains my ALL TIME FAVORITE Prince (r.i.p.) album.

I know that we might always complaining but that's true I was quite disappointed that fade out was included in 4ever. Now I'm so happy: we are very lucky regarding all thoses releases! Can we keep up?

I'm hyped for Rearrange, Bold Generation and Can't Stop This Feeling I Got. Been on a 1988-1990 kick lately and those three are probably the closest we're going to get to that era for a long, long time.

I hang out at superdeluxeedition.com for news about physical releases from my non-Prince interests. Over there, collectors get super frothy over the inclusion of rare versions and complain when (on a release like this) the collection of edits/remixes is not exhaustive.

Ultimately, different people want different things and it’s not always possible to please everyone 100%.

Personally I think they’ve done pretty well here, with a good mix of released edits/versions, 2 discs of unreleased tracks/demos and two different live shows (rather than just including the audio for the same show which I’ve seen som3 sets do). This works for me

Was the same with the Versace Experience on Amazon UK, physical was offered much later than digital. Doesn't matter though, not essential to order it today, as soon as it appears I'll be doing it though.

Glad to hear this, I really like the track but the one we have goes on too long for me. I think this will benefit massively for being a tightened up version.
