Any idea why this video isn't on the official Prince page?

Someone apparently "reconstructed" it and put it up, but again, not on the official channel.

I see the video for "The One" also exists; but not on the official channel.

Well obviously they are not going to answer that?

I just thought someone on here would have some insight? I figured some sort of legal dispute, or copyright issues, or ?? (or like TMBGITW) or whatever since all the other official videos are on his page.

Also, "The One" is not on the official page? I thought there might be some interesting reason such as a legal dispute since "The One" wasn't a "normal" Prince release.

Interestingly, both two videos both premiered on BET. I thought maybe this could tie into the reason?

Many videos are still not on the YT channel. It just haven't been uploaded yet, for some reason that none of us mere mortals can comprehend. I don't think there's any legal mumbo jumbo about any of the videos save TMBGITW, and it's because of the song not the vid.

The One IDK, because I don't think that channel is intended to welcome the side projects, but on the other hand the official discography puts NPS among Prince albums not side projects so God knows what goes on in those people's minds... All I can tell is that NPS is not part of the Sony Legacy reissue deal but that has nothing to do with the videos per se.

U're right and there's no reason why it's not posted knowing that it was announced the same time as the other videos from 3121.

Somewhere Here On Earth is not on 3121.

According to Princevault 2 edits of the video exist. I didn't know that

Isn't WB the ones that are using the official Prince channel on YT?

If so, I imagine that any videos/songs that are not WB released won't be released on that YT channel. If not, then I have no idea why they aren't on there.

Yep it's listed for December 7.

All the other videos seem to be up.

I'm almost sure that there's more to the story BECAUSE the person who has the video currently up on YouTube states he had to "reconstruct" it.
