Originals post vocal effects

Anyone else notice they added a horrible reverb/chorus effect to Prince's voice for a lot of these tracks? I guess they wanted these tracks to all sound more produced. Really ticks me off they took this liberty, it makes him sound like he singing in a cathederal.

No other unreleased Prince material has this effect in it, and, the fact that the same effect is on so many tracks that were recorded years apart from one another, and existing on the same release, I think shows this was done specifically for this release. This is just not something that Prince would have naturally done to his voice on any of these songs imo.

What do you guys think, do you enjoy the chorus/reverb effect that they took the liberty of adding? For me, it throws off these songs a lot, making the vocal seem like it is not even part of the same session recording.
