"Boys & Girls Clubs pay homage to Prince in Paramount showcase" https://eu.sctimes.com/st...119836001/
.
This year students are presenting their works inspired by a trip to Paisley Park and a study of Prince.
.
“Prince valued individuality and creativity,” said Aimee Minnerath, director of marketing for the clubs.
.
That idea permeates through all elements of the showcase, which will begin and end with Prince-inspired songs.
.
As part of the visual arts program, students created “Prince in Me” portraits where each member focused on visualizing their personal story and what makes them unique. Students also created a Minnesota culture project that focused on heritage.
