Once again Marvel has included a Prince reference in a comic, this time in the new War Of The Realms crossover series. Dr. Strange appears to be using Prince magic.

There isn't a link. It's from a comic book that came out last week. I've shared screenshots from Marvel comics that referenced Prince before, many times. I've never been asked to link or credit.

Anyways, it's from War Of The Realms #2. The author is Jason Aaron and the artist is Russell Dauterman. The comic is available in comic shops and Marvel has a digital service but I have no idea if it's available from the service yet.

This certainly isn't the first time Prince has made it into a comic book. Yet it always remains super cool when he does. The Lovesexy reference is a deeper flex.

There was an artist at Marvel Comics in the 80s whose name I don´t remember but he would often reference Kate Bush in his stories, for example in graffiti on the wall.

From what I can gather from the link DJ posted, it's the use of the word "Hundasiliah". I never even realised Prince had ever said that, if I'm being honest.

DC did. They had Prince and Bowie on a Newspaper cover in Justice League. DC is owned by WB. Maybe a Spider-Man movie will have something since Sony puts those out.

That was a nice touch. They put Prince and Bowie on the same level of what is basically a God. I'm sure Prince would have gotten a kick out of it too, what with his history with Batman.

I was going to come in, all high and mighty, and refute your claims that it was the best part of the movie. But for the life of me, I can't pick out any other highlights from it... Although I did like that they used parts of the real Superman and Batman theme songs though. Does that count as a highlight?

It's on "Eye No" on Lovesexy. It's among the first words he says on the album as a whole, and that song. I'm gonna put y'all in Lovesexy time outs until you get refreshed. hahaha
