Nothing Compares 2 U and I Am The Walrus If you listen to the intro of Nothing Compares 2 U (original version) the keyboard sounds very similar to the keyboard in the song I Am The Walrus. Just in a slower tempo. Honestly check it out! | |

Honestly check it out! I think it’s been noted on here a few times. It’s impossible to hear that opening and not think it’s about to explode into Walrus. Whether or not Prince was aware of this, I don’t know, but if I had to guess I’d say it’s unintentional. Unlike what Oasis did with Don’t Look Back In Anger a decade later reusing the intro to another Lennon song. | |

I feel like that keyboard rhythm must have been around forever, it's just one of those things you play when you have two hands on a keyboard isn't it? I'd say that's why Prince removed it from the actually released version, too obvious. | |
