There's a rumor that Apple will release First Avenue 83 DVD/CD and some documentary of the rehearsal.
I would rather see a complete Frist Avenue boxset with all shows he played there on CD and DVD or Bluray.

I think most orgers would prefer the birthday show because the 83 show has been circulating for decades now and the birthday show is still kind of fresh...the decent quality version leak is not that old and before that we only had that poor quality audience recording, plus he plays that heavy version of Something In the Water here so that alone makes it a must have for me. I ´d really love to watch him play that version at First Ave because the only time I´ve seen him play that is that warehouse rehearsal.

same here, just for the packaging and so that I could rip my own copy to watch. Preferably Bluray, but DVD would be cool enough.

Just to see him perform Noon Rendezous, Erotic City and Something in the water (Does Not Compute) is worth the price of the DVD alone! Come on Prince Estate -let's get it done!

Agreed, this would be f--king amazing, but come on...so far they have managed to release fuck all, P&M a bootleg, PR Dleuxe - one disc of unreleased - welcomed but hardly a tidal wave. The chances of anyone releasing anything anytime soon is unlikely, for whatever reasons - incompetence, legal red tape, they seem to be doing the opposite of promoting his legacy...don't start me on the freaky little dolls and t-shirts that fall apart!!

Fingers crossed - most likely will be something you have already on purple vinyl at twice the price of a normal record. Gimme some limited edition black vinyl!!
