She posts excerpts from some of her interviews in the Art and Podcasts forum. Most recently she shared ones with Rhonda Smith and Josh Dunham. Her latest is with Adrian Crutchfield where he talked about what he said was the last album that Prince recorded, 'Black Is The New Black.'

Does anyone have more information about this book or potential book by Erica Thompson? She writes about Prince's spiritual journey throughout his life, particularly fascinating to me, as getting into Prince's music again in the 2000s was in part a catalyst for rediscovering my Catholic roots and upbringing. I think it sounds like a fascinating premise for a whole book although the spiritual aspect of his work/life has been studied. It would be really cool to have a comprehensive review. this a book that really needs attention....his depth

Outside of Duane Tudahl's studio sessions series, Erica's is the book I most want to own and read. I interviewed her in 2010 on my now defunct show, Paisley Radio, and she was working on the book even then. I don't read her blog, because I want my book reading experience to be fresh and new when it happens.

Wow thanks. I hope she finds the time to complete it. I would really like to read a book on Prince's spiritual evolution.

She works on it consistantly....
