why seattle? not that i'm complaining, i live here and i'll check it out. did you see the comment?:

In late 1980 I was transferring from a quarter-system school for spring semester and had a couple of months to kill, and spent that time living with a friend in Minneapolis. I got a job as the graveyard-shift manager at Frogi's Family Restaurant at Lake and Dupont, and Prince — who had just released "Dirty Mind", and was working on "Controversy" — would come in at least once a week. He was notably down-to-earth; neither standoffish nor chatty, but a nice, normal (though charismatic) guy. Always had two women with him, though not always the same two.

MoPOP is a great museum. When I was there in 2017 they had two excellent music exibitions. One on Hendrix and another on Bowie.

MoPOP have posted the following:

"At the start of his career, Prince worked to create a unique and dynamic professional image. He reached out to photographers in his local community, and several in Minneapolis participated in the construction and dissemination of what is now his legendary image and identity. Four of those photographers—Allen Beaulieu, Nancy Bundt, Terry Gydesen, and Robert Whitman—are showcased in this exhibition. With nearly 50 artifacts, including photos, artwork, a Prince guitar, and outfits from the Purple Rain Tour and film, guests will experience Prince at key moments in his career, from his early days to the Purple Rain tour and beyond."
