I think he's talking about the fact that those albums were originally published by Sony. However, it was just a limited time-span publishing deal and Prince still owned the rights to them.

Hello, whereas some CD pressings of Musicology in some countries had an enhanced track with the Musicology video - none of the new 2019 reissues have an enhanced track.

No more soulless than the original releases... which, er, is what these are re-releases of... so... this is awkward.

Actually, the vinyl editions are far LESS soulless than the original (CD only) editions, as these albums now sonically sound the best they ever have, without the brickwalling that plagued them originally.
